This mechanism turns a gear in a stop-turn-stop way.It doesn't turn it continuously so, it can work as an indexing head.This is because the worm gear is made differently.As far as I know, some indexing heads in the market work in this way.You can change the turn and stop durations by changing the shape of the worm gear.I made this worm gear by winding a cable around a plastic part and gluing.For a faster view of the video, you can fasten the player.
